I have updated this page for the Fall 2024 semester.
We will be playing a variety of open-source and free-to-play games, e.g. Passage.
In addition, you are required to play at least 5 hours of each of the following games, capture a 15-minute video sequence of your play from each, and upload these video clips to YouTube.

- The Last of Us Part 1 (Naughty Dog)
Platforms: PlayStation 3, 4, or 5, PC - Grand Theft Auto V story mode (Rockstar)
Platforms: PlayStation 3, 4, or 5, PC, Xbox - A video game of your choice
Any platform, including mobile phone.
Note that the videos must be captures of your play. Submitting footage taken from other sources will be considered academic misconduct.
YouTube
If you don’t already have a YouTube account, you will need to create one for this class. You do not have to use your real name for the account, and you can set the videos to “Unlisted.”
(If designated “Unlisted,” your video may be accessed only by users who have the direct link to it. The video will not appear in your channel or in search results.)
“Watermarking” your game footage
To confirm that you created this footage for this class, please execute the following camera and character movements in your captured footage for each of the assigned games. (These movements do not have to occur at any particular moment in your 15 minutes of recorded footage.)

Game of Your Choice
The game of your choice can be any electronic game in any genre. The game does not not have to emphasize narrative. You will use this game for the Player Experience essay assignment.
